1. About this policy
kobibarak.com is operated by Kobi Barak. This policy explains what information is collected when you browse the site or contact me, what it's used for, who it's shared with and what your rights are, in line with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13.

3. What is collected
Browsing the site. The site uses no cookies, analytics tools, social-media pixels or advertising tools. Fonts and files load from the site's own server, not from third parties. The hosting provider, Vercel Inc., automatically logs technical data such as IP address, browser type, page viewed and time of visit, for security, troubleshooting and normal operation. Under Amendment 13 such data may count as personal information, so it is listed here.
Preferences saved in your browser. If you choose night mode or settings in the accessibility menu, the choice is saved only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It is never sent to me or anyone else, and you can clear it at any time with the “Reset” button in the accessibility menu or by clearing your browsing data.
Contacting me. When you contact me on WhatsApp, by email, by phone, on LinkedIn or through the contact form on this site, I receive what you choose to send: your name, phone number or email address, and your message. There is no legal obligation to provide this information. Without contact details, I simply can't get back to you.
The contact form. What you enter in the form travels over an encrypted connection through the site's server to my AutoConnect system, which alerts me on WhatsApp and stores the message so I can get back to you. The site itself does not store your details. To block spam, the number of messages sent from the same IP address is checked, without storing it.
Automated replies on WhatsApp. Messages sent to me on WhatsApp get an automated first reply (a bot). To answer and pass your message on to me, its content may be processed by computer, including with AI tools.
4. How it is used
- To reply to you, schedule a call, send a quote and deliver a service you ordered.
- To run, secure and troubleshoot the site.
- To meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping and invoicing.
I don't use the information for targeted advertising, don't profile visitors, and never sell, rent or trade information.
5. Who it is shared with
Information is shared only with providers that help me run the site and provide services, and only as needed:
- Vercel Inc.: site hosting and server logs.
- AutoConnect: a Barak AI system I own, which receives contact-form messages and alerts me. Data is stored on Supabase servers in Europe.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and the automated reply service: when you message me on WhatsApp, and when I'm alerted about a contact-form message. Using WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Notion: managing my inquiries and clients.
- My email service provider: when you send me an email.
- Competent authorities, when the law requires it.
6. Transfers outside Israel
Some of the providers above store data on servers outside Israel, for example in the United States or Europe. Transfers are made in line with the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad), 5761-2001, to providers committed to protecting the information.
7. How long it is kept
Messages are kept as long as needed to handle them and for our business relationship, and afterwards only as long as the law requires (for example, accounting records). Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period under its own policy.
8. Security
The site is available only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to information is restricted and the accounts that hold it are protected. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable, accepted measures to protect it.
9. Your rights
- Access: ask to see the information held about you (section 13 of the law).
- Correction and deletion: ask to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date (section 14).
- Marketing: I don't send newsletters. If you ever receive marketing from me, you can ask me to stop at any time.
To make a request, email hello@kobibarak.com. I'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with the answer, you can contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
10. Minors
The site is intended for business owners and adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Links to other sites
The site links to external sites, demo sites and separate products (such as Kablan-OS, Matmid and Lomdush). Each has its own privacy policy, and this policy doesn't apply to them.
12. Changes
If the site changes, for example if measurement tools are added, this policy will be updated here first. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
